The Highest Purpose of Art is to awaken the human soul.
Hildegard of Bingen, 12th C European Mystic

Adria Firestone, onstage by the time she was 10 years old, is an award-winning singer and actress whose credits range from Carmen to Family Guy. She led the season openers with Houston & Florida Grand Operas, graced San Diego Opera’s stage with a world premier of The Conquistador, and was hailed as the “Queen of the Palace of Bellas Artes” in Mexico City. She won a Carbonell for Best Actress in a Musical for Dulcinea in Man of La Mancha, was voted Woman of the Year in Spoleto, Italy and was embraced in Spain as their immortal gypsy, Carmen, in such cities as Cordoba, Valencia, Ávila, and the Canary Islands.

After a singing career that took Adria around the world, she withdrew from the spotlight to explore a deeper calling. She explored her other talents while completing her studies as a life coach (www.thefreedomcoach.com). She founded a construction company with her husband (www.jariverafineconstruction.com) and remodeled homes from the ceiling to the floor. Construction, about which she knew nothing when she began, taught her she could learn anything and gave her a clear and honest metaphor for life.

Adria’s ability to travel the world and run her household, almost by remote control, led to the creation of Organizer Bunny™ (www.organizerbunny.net). Organizer Bunny™ taught her how valuable what she had learned was to others, and her professorship at a University revealed that she was indeed, a teacher.

But her interaction with her colleagues, her ceaseless learning and the life change she inspired drew her like a magnet toward her new profession. Adria is a transformer inspiring the miraculous power of our spiritual essence to create joyous, abundant lives and leave a legacy of light for this beloved planet.

For the past 15 years, Adria has given master classes throughout the world and is presently on the faculty at New Jersey City University. She is a spiritual teacher, a contemporary philosopher, and a most unique and riveting speaker.

Every experience in her life has prepared her for the work she does now. From the Sacred Temple of the Emerald Buddha, to fleas in the ancient theater in Spoleto, from seedy hotels on old Miami Beach to a Sultan’s palace, the journey has been richer than Adria could have anticipated. She scoured the markets for medicinal herbs in Singapore and Indonesia, and bought perfume oils by the pyramids in Giza. Adria lived and studied in Italy, toured Australia & the Pacific Rim, and sang for Desert Storm troops in the Persian Gulf.

Adria’s life experience is authentic and intense and communicates itself in every word she utters. This is a woman who has lived intensely, and explored first hand, other traditions and philosophies. Her constant quest for knowledge gives this contemporary philosopher a vibrant connection with a deeper and higher wisdom. Her spirituality is present in all she does, but it is a practical, everyday spirituality, with its feet planted firmly on the ground.

Whether Adria's audience is 12 or 12,000, she is at home within the sacred circle of the stage. She combines all of her talent, education and experience to enrich, enliven and enlighten her audience. Adria’s speaking is colored by her passion for living, her music serves her message, and her point of view is as unique as her voice.
